James T. Evans Award

On June 17, Jessi Renae Juhan was honored by the Rotary Club of Meriwether County as the recipient of the 2025 James T. Evans Community Service Award. Mrs. Juhan was recognized for her significant contributions to community service, particularly her work with the youth of Meriwether County.

Mrs. Juhan is a Science and Social Studies teacher at Manchester Middle School and also serves as the school advisor for the Rotary Interact Club.

The Interact Club at Manchester Middle-High School exemplifies the power of youth empowerment through service. From organizing community clean-ups to leading school-wide kindness campaigns, the students demonstrate that the principle of "Service Above Self" starts early and has a lasting impact. Their energy, compassion, and achievements inspire us all to continue making a difference—one student, one project, and one act of service at a time.
