The Rotary Club of Meriwether County proudly sponsored and judged student essays for the Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest, an annual program that encourages young people to reflect on the values that guide their lives.
The Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest challenges students to identify their own personal “Law of Life” — a principle or belief that shapes their decisions and character — and to thoughtfully explore how that law applies to their individual journeys. Through this meaningful process, students share powerful, heartfelt insights about what matters most to them. In addition to recognizing these inspiring stories, the contest provides significant cash awards to both students and participating teachers.
This year, the Rotary Club of Meriwether County partnered with Greenville High School, Manchester High School, and Flint River Academy to bring the program to local students. The contest was conducted through the Georgia Rotary Districts Character Education Program, Inc. (GRDCEP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting ethical leadership and character development among youth.
The Rotary Club is proud to recognize the following honorees:
Greenville High School
Manchester High School
Flint River Academy
The Rotary Club of Meriwether County congratulates all participants for their thoughtful reflections and outstanding achievements. Their words not only demonstrate strong character and integrity but also offer hope and inspiration for our community's future.
