Decorate Rotary Christmas Tree to Benefit Operation Good Neighbor

"Celebrating the Season: Meriwether County Rotary Club's Festive Christmas Tree at the Celebration of Trees"

The Meriwether County Rotary Club proudly decorated a Rotary-themed Christmas tree for the annual “Celebration of Trees” contest, sponsored by the Manchester Development Authority and the Downtown Development Authority, held at the Estage Gallery on Main Street in Manchester.

On December 6th, from 12 PM to 8 PM, families gathered to experience the magic of Christmas on Main Street. The festivities included delicious food trucks, a charming crafts market, unique local vendors, uplifting Christmas carolers, fun activities for children, and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

This joyful celebration supported Operation Good Neighbor, a local organization dedicated to assisting families in need throughout Meriwether County.

Operation Good Neighbor provides food, essential household items, emergency aid, and seasonal outreach programs, ensuring families facing hardship receive compassionate, practical support, especially during the holiday season.

The community united in a spirit of joy and generosity, with all proceeds benefiting Operation Good Neighbor, brightening the season for families who needed it most.
