*Sending Christmas Cards to Residents at Becky's Rest Home*
On December 13, the members of the Rotary Club gathered together to write and sign twenty-five heartfelt Christmas cards for the residents of Becky's Rest Home, located in the charming town of Fletcher, North Carolina.
The thoughtful initiative of giving Christmas Cards to residents was inspired by Amanda Mount, a passionate woman from North Carolina who has developed a deep and caring relationship with the individuals living at Becky's Rest Home.
Recognizing that the holiday season can often amplify feelings of loneliness, especially after the devastation caused by disasters like Hurricane Helene, Amanda has initiated a heartfelt campaign. She invites people from around the country to create and send Christmas cards, hoping to fill the residents' mailboxes and rooms with cheerful messages and warm wishes.
Through these Christmas cards' simple yet profound gift, we aspire to convey an essential message to the residents: "You are not forgotten. You are loved, and you are valued." We hope these cards will bring light and joy to their holiday season, reminding them that they are cherished members of our community.
