James T Evans Community Service Award

On Tuesday, January 11, 2021, the Rotary Club of Meriwether County presented Yashvi Patel the James T. Evans Community Service Award.

This award is presented to Yashvi Patel, a non-Rotarian, in recognition of the community service that she has unselfishly provided to the citizens of Meriwether County, especially to our youth.

Yashvi volunteers her time to the youth in Meriwether County in a variety of ways. She represents the students of Meriwether County on the Georgia Department of Education State Superintendent's Parent Advisory Council for 2021, she serves on the PTO and School Council's at her son's school and her daughter's school, she serves the community as a city councilperson and is the owner of a local business.
